Technology
with a purpose
Our clinic is equipped with digital tools that help us see the details, plan your care and design restorations to fit your mouth.
What can technology help us do?
We combine intraoral scanning, digital imaging and computer-assisted planning, which help us make a more precise diagnosis. Each tool is selected according to clinical need, alongside an examination and professional judgment.
Intraoral scanning
A 3D scan of the mouth with the iTero scanner, one of the most advanced intraoral scanners in the world, instead of traditional impression material. An accurate model appears on screen while you are still in the chair, and you can see a simulation of your teeth straightening result before treatment begins.
CAD/CAM crowns
Your crown is designed from the scan and produced from an all-ceramic block.
Digital imaging
Instant, more precise digital X-rays that reduce radiation exposure by up to 90% compared with older film X-rays. They help identify problems that may not be visible during an examination alone. The type and frequency are based on clinical need.
Three-dimensional planning
When appropriate, three-dimensional imaging helps plan implant positioning in relation to the available bone and nearby structures. This planning significantly improves the chances of implant success and helps avoid damage to nerves and the sinuses.
