Care for dental anxiety

You can visit even when you feel anxious

Some people worry about pain or injections. Others find the sounds, a past experience or a loss of control difficult. Dr. Meytal takes time to understand your concerns and what helps you before deciding how to proceed.

Your first appointment can be a conversation and examination only. Her bachelor’s degree in Psychology complements her dental training and a patient approach shaped around the person in the chair.

One step at a time

Making treatment more comfortable

01

Start by getting acquainted

Tell us what feels difficult and what has helped before. You can request a first visit for a conversation and examination only.
02

Know what to expect

We explain each step and the sensations you may feel, and agree on a stop signal before starting.
03

Choose suitable pain and anxiety management

Local anesthesia is selected according to your treatment and medical history. Nitrous oxide may be an option when appropriate.
04

Break the plan into manageable stages

Appointment length and the pace of treatment are planned around your needs and comfort.
Another option for relaxation

What about nitrous oxide?

Nitrous oxide may help reduce anxiety during treatment when medically suitable. It does not replace local anesthesia where that is needed. You receive individual preparation and discharge instructions.
